THE PARRY EXPERIENCE
Looking for a bush-to-sea wonderland destination in Australia? This is it.The magic of Westralia’s South Coast can be found in it’s laid-back, slow, small-town quirks but most of all, it’s the warm and welcoming communities that entice visitors in – and Denmark is no exception to the rule.
Take to the skies on the Treetop Walk in the Valley of Giants to awe the height of the majestic tingle trees – some that have stood for more than 400 years. Take in the fragrance of salt bush, steal a look from a mob of kangaroos or catch a glimpse of a blue wren walking among the karri trees along the Munda Buddi Trail.
Get salted at Greens Pool, Elephant Rocks and Lights Beach where the sugar-white beaches, sparkling water and dramatic boulders flanking the shoreline make the views nothing short of breathtaking.
With over a plethora of wineries, craft breweries and restaurants that feature local ingredients, there’s no excuse for foodies not to spend a weekend here. Start the morning right at Mrs. Jones Café, take stock at The Green Pantry,
then taste the spices in Silas Masih’s dishes at Pepper & Salt. Win(e)d down and taste the tannins at Singlefile, Harewood Estate, The Lake House, Rockcliffe and Forest Hill to name a few, then debrief on the day’s adventures with a brewski and the famous Boss Lager Marinated Drunken Fried Chicken at the Boston Brewing Co.

The coastline between Denmark and Walpole offers a fantastic opportunity for uncrowded quality surf. There is a mixture of beach breaks and reef/point breaks and opportunities for surfers of all levels. One of the best things about surfing the area is the old 1970’s feel of being able to drive your car along beaches like Parry’s , find a peak that is “going off” and get into it!
